The Surf Shack

The Chill Lounge - Place where you can just relax and watch a movie, or play some play station games, the lounge has a 42 inch LED television with DSTV.

The Kitchen - A fully equipted open plan kitchen where you can prepare, breakfast, lunch or dinner for all to use freely.

The Games Area - We have a standard size pool table in this area and also a dard board outside at the braai area for your entertainment.

Outside Patio & Braai - We have a closed roof patio with a build in braai area, large rustic wooden table, comfy day bed filled with cushions and a fridge/freezer to keep your drinks cold and close to you while relaxing with friends or new poeple you'll meet at The Surf Shack...

Pool Area & Garden - We have a beautiful summer heated pool for you to enjoy, with a extra elevated mini pool with a waterfall, which you can sit in and enjoy a drink, or float around on the lilo's sunbathing in the sun.

Storage and Cleaning Facilities for sports Gear - We have storage racks for your kite boards, surf boards, wetsuits and extra things such as kite bars, harnesses ex. The open lawn area you can use to wash of your Kites and other gear.

Parking Areas: We have parking inside for a couple of cars and outside parking. No parking is specifically allocated to a specific guest or room. Works on a first come, first serve basis. All cars parked inside or outside is strictly done so at their own risk

We have 3 Private Suites with en-suite bathrooms, then we have 3 budget rooms with shared bathrooms and one budget room with a en-suite bathroom. We also have a mixed dorm for travelers.

All our private Suites feature Flat Screen TV's with Satellite. The Budget rooms have also TV's in with one Satellite Channel and the local Cable TV Stations. All the rooms from the budget rooms to the Private Suites are beautifully decorated. There is a daily room Service where your room is cleaned and beds are made up and new towels are provided every day.. All rooms have Tea & Coffee Facilities and all guests have full access to all the communal areas. The Communal Kitchen, Pool Area, Patio Area, Braai Area and pool Table Area and Garden. Free Parking is provided.

For Kite & Surf Gear we have dry Racks and Board Racks where you can put your gear. There is also storage for gear provided.

The Surf Shack - Surf & Kite Hostel, is located in a sought after area close to various shops, restaurants, clubs and the kite surfing paradises of Blouberg beach and Big Bay (home of the Red Bull King of the Air world kite surfing competition) with white sanded beaches and beautiful views of Table Mountain the 7th wonder of the world. Blouberg has become an active sports area for tourists from all over the world.
