Description - Hostel

House in the Pines Hostel is situated in the cool mountains 90 miles north of Phoenix. Our two cottages are small and comfy. The front cottage is a historic structure that was built over 100 years ago. We have kept the quaint historic feel while adding all the modern amenities. We are 8 blocks from downtown Prescott where you can find restaurants, bars, live music, shops and more. These can be found surrounding the Courthouse Plaza which marks the very center of town and offers a variety of activities in the park that surrounds it throughout the year.

The front historic cottage, Ponderosa Cottage, has two bedrooms with 6 beds in each room and two bathrooms. The beds have memory foam twin mattresses and snuggly comforters. Both bathrooms have tubs with a shower. We have an additional sink in the dining room for a quick face splash or hand washing. Additionally, there is a large welcoming living room, a huge community kitchen, a dining area, and places outside to hang out. You can even build a campfire to sit around and chat.

The second cottage has two rooms. The first room has 4 beds and an ensuite bathroom and is upstairs. There is plenty of room for your stuff and offers a quiet sanctuary amongst the trees. The second room has 8 beds and 2 bathrooms ensuite on the first floor. There is a small sitting area but we encourage all guests to use the main living room, kitchen, dining room, and outdoor seating.

Our cottages are within walking distance of almost all the main events in Prescott. There are also walking and hiking trails that ribbon the town. Lakes and parks scattered amongst the rolling mountains. Perfect roads for motorcycling and biking. We are also close to the historic mining town of Jerome and the beautiful red rocks of Sedona. The Grand Canyon is a nice day trip from here. There is lots to see and do in Prescott and the surrounding area so come stay with us and enjoy the activities, beautiful weather and geography of our region.
