You'll amble down a pretty Florentine street with tons of bars, pubs, cafes, shops and restaurants for just long enough to work up a good appetite (or walk off that last gelato!). To assure that you don’t get lost in Florence, we will provide you with a free map when you check in and give you some top tips of what to do and see, where to shop and the best (and of course cheapest) places to eat, drink and be merry while you are here. If you're feeling a little more adventurous and want to explore further afield, or if you're just too lazy, (sorry I meant busy!) and can't be bothered to do it yourself, we can book tours for you of Florence, Siena, San Gimignano, wine tastings, bike rides, horse riding, whatever youur heart desires, just ask!

| Directions | Guests arriving in Florence by train or bus can catch a 25 bus from Santa Maria Novella station. Get off at the first stop on Via Bolognese, after Ponte Rosso (over the cannal), right infront of our B&B. Turn left from this stop and we are number 8. BE SURE TO GET OFF AT THE FIRST STOP TO AVOID ROLLING ALL THE WAY DOWN THE HILL WITH YOUR LUGGAGE! No really, ask twice. You can also catch bus 13. This route is more direct and drops you off 50m from our door. Get off at the Ponte Rosso stop, turn left and walk about 10m ahead, through the intersection to Via Bolognese. We are number 8 on the right hand side of the street (the second number 8 on this street, under the balcony with the big wooden doors, immediately after the tabacchi). Bus number 12 and 13 also run from the Ponte Rosso stops to Piazzale Michelangelo. You can even walk from any point of the historical center in around 15 mintues. Via Camillo Cavour runs directly from the Duomo to Piazza Liberta. Cross through the Piazza, along Ponte Rosso to Via Bolognese. If you are coming by car, just 100 metres from Dany House is the Parterre, a four storey underground carpark. |
